Prior to Your Move-In at Allister:
- Set-Up Utilities: Have Duke Energy Progress transfer the electric service from the landlord’s name into your name. Service date should begin on your selected lease start date.

- Obtain Proper Renter’s Insurance: We require all residents to obtain and provide proof of up-to-date renter’s insurance before we can issue you your new keys. You may go through any reputable company, as long as you meet our minimum requirements of at least $100,000.00 in Personal Liability coverage. You must also list Allister North Hills as either “Additional Insured” or “Interested Party”.
Don’t have a preferred company? We suggest using Resident Insure. Simply go to their website, type in Allister’s zip code (27609), and choose Allister North Hills as the selected property. By using Resident Insure you can skip having to send a copy of your policy to our team, as it will upload automatically to your Resident Portal.
- Water: We set-up your water billing system through Studebaker Submetering Inc. Be on the lookout for your first bill directly in the mail.
